The new drilling guide is designed to make wood drilling easier, straighter and more accurate.

Using a 1/4 inch hex shaft, it can be used with cordless and corded drills and impact drivers.

With keyed chuck, tapered depth control shaft and limit ring, spring return, reversible chuck bracket, built-in V-groove, alignment and adjustable fence

The chuck carrier has a 1″ drill bit capacity, but if you remove it and reverse it, you can fit bits up to 2″ wide.

A v-groove in the base allows for easy centered drilling of round stock such as wood dowels.

There are two centered pins that stow on board when not in use. For use, they thread into the bottom of the base and can be tightened with one of the column caps, which has a built-in hex bit.

The fence can be connected to any of the 4 sides of the Auto-Line square base.

In addition, fences can be used in multiple directions. Here, it is used to refer to the edge of the ship.

The fence can also be reversed for maximum range.

The fence can also be rotated to make it easier to drill vertical panels.

Answer:  Of course. It has multiple functions and a very versatile design. The design does not seem to cut corners. For example, the chuck holder is made of a Teflon sleeve that moves along a stainless steel column. One of the uprights is machined with a tapered plane to ensure that the stop ring will not move or slip off during use. You also get the fence, which seems to be versatile. The hex bit required to install the centering pin is machined to the bottom of the column cap.
